While she excelled in the role, there came a point when she realized that the work, focused on business-to-business conflict resolution, no longer aligned with her values. Reflecting on her time in mediation, Kaylene acknowledged how her role sometimes involved manipulating situations to reach a resolution, leading her to step away from the corporate world.
