The epidemic has been difficult, and it has put leaders to the test. In these changing times, leaders must grow as well. These are the occasions that educate us to be healthy, spend time with our families, and live a life free of regrets. As for leaders, they must continue to learn about the new normal situations in their firms.

Stress is something that should be avoided at all costs. Stress may be reduced through networking, speaking at numerous events, and managing an extremely hectic workday. Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts; attaining work-life balance is a never-ending journey, and one must do the best she or he can.

The present requirement is for businesses to connect themselves with technology, and with the correct tools, anyone can achieve any goal.

Small steps must be taken until the objective is reached. Too many leaders are consumed by obstacles and issues. Successful leaders and entrepreneurs concentrate on achieving their objectives. Furthermore, if the aim becomes challenging, adjust it and, most importantly, keep moving ahead. Resilience, persistence, and adaptability are crucial leadership skills in today’s world.

In its most recent edition, “World’s Inspiring CEOs to Watch in 2022,” World’s Leaders recognized the most renowned leaders based on their vision and success.

The cover features Colin Brown, President and CEO of Stratford Underwriting Agency Inc., Colin is 72 years old, lots of miles on the clock, but still good energy, steering the company through the early years, building a team that will be good for the long term and leaving the company in the best of hands. Mr. Brown worked for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia for 22 years that is a quasi-monopoly that essentially sells 90% of all auto insurance in British Columbia. He was the Chief Underwriter, responsible for determining rates and creating coverages. In 1994/5, ICBC offered a new program to make the company more competitive; but, the Board, which was very politically motivated, did not embrace many of recommendations, prompting Colin to depart in mid-1995 and start his own company to compete with ICBC.
