Describe who you are as a person, inside and outside of the workplace.
I am a travel freak and a cycling enthusiast. Both of these passions have taught me to work with time, speed, & miles, which has provided stupendous results. I enjoy interacting with others.I love meeting new people and learning about their lives and backgrounds. I can almost always find common ground with strangers, and I like making people feel comfortable in my presence. I find this skill especially helpful when kicking off projects with new clients.
Describe your background and what did you do before you started/joined the company?
I have an excellent business management academic background and have worked on stellar projects in leadership positions in my previous telco companies while I was with JTM, Airtel, Hutch, and Vodafone before starting up my own new venture. I always work hard to complete our tasks, which automatically translates to the fact that I am highly task-oriented and can work just as well by myself as I can in groups.
Tell us about the inception of the company. How did it all start?
Any establishment do come across many challenges while planning an marketing activity. Wastage of materials like banners, posters, timely designing, logistics of campaign materials to multiple regions and monitoring them are always a challenging task. The solutions to this challenging were to move form static to dynamic campaign and this is how we started to look at developing a solution which can be digitalized. Now our product provides a digital solution to schedule a campaign or broadcast information from remote place with on LED screens placed anywhere in the world.
What has made you successful? What do you value?
Our main aim is to keep our process or solution simple, unique, reliable, and affordable. Achieving customer and employee satisfaction is our main goal. Both are given equivalent importance throughout the journey. Creating a best-in-class customer onboarding process and handholding customers until they get used to our solution is what has given us successful results as of now. We kept our focus on a few segments, and we have been very successful in tapping the healthcare segment and can proudly say we are segment leaders in acquiring many large brands across India. Apollo Group Cradle, Fertility, Spectra, Clinics, Manipal Hospital, Cloudnine, Care Group of Hospitals, Omni Group Hospitals, St. Johns, Sakara, and many more are just a few examples.
Which are the major services of the company and how do the company to get ahead in the competition? What value-added services does the company provide?
One of our primary services is digital signage. Improving customer service levels by being more responsive to their needs and expectations when clients run out of time, we use our manpower to manage and schedule their quick campaign. Any competitor can now easily imitate the technology. So, we set a unique selling proposition, and stay ahead of the competition in terms of quality, price, and customer service.
What are the most important aspects of a company’s culture? What principles do you believe in and how do you build this culture?
Customer service shouldn’t just be a department concern; it should be the entire company. This statement is what we practice. Our never-resting culture is what drives our commitment to our clients. We learn, build processes, and improve with our most unhappy customers’ feedback.
What is the significance of innovative ideas in the company?
We are constantly working on creating a unique product portfolio to support brands and enable them with the latest tech solutions that can enhance their work capability and, in turn, increase their productivity. We also look at partnering with innovative start-up companies to bundle our solutions or upsell them to our customers as value-added services.
Give us your opinion on; do organizations rely heavily on individual heroics or team processes?
Regardless of our employees’ expertise, our small team participates in all processes related to post-sales requirements so that they can understand the customer’s point of view.This aids us in our collaborative efforts for the customer journey.We definitely rely on team performance.
What are your responsibilities as the Founder/CEO/MD of the company? What is the happiest part of your daily routine?
Other than setting and executing the organization’s strategy on a regular basis, taking quick decisions on various aspects of business with the right results is what gives me pleasure.
What advice would you give someone going into a leadership position for the first time?
Stick to the founding principles of the organization and evaluate them against the market if they need to be changed. Make sure your clients never leave. Build a strong retention team which helps to keep churn rate lower.
