Taylor is an American with European roots who received education in the United States, Italy, and Switzerland. She holds several degrees, certifications, and licenses from prestigious institutions worldwide. Her background includes an undergraduate degree in international affairs, a Masters in international affairs, an MBA in international business, and formal training in etiquette and protocol. She is also certified as a life coach, emotional intelligence coach, and NLP practitioner, with certificates in personal and fashion styling.
After working for over a decade in international public relations, managing 22 markets on five continents, Taylor decided to focus on raising her daughter. Later, she established her own consulting company, leveraging her skills in cultural sensitivity, emotional intelligence, communication, and awareness. Her company, which specializes in etiquette, was founded in 2019 with a desire to give back to society and remove the stigma surrounding etiquette. Taylor believes that etiquette is crucial in building relationships and developing business, and that it is not an outdated, irrelevant, or exclusive practice but rather a set of skills that can help anyone succeed in their personal and professional lives.
Inception of the Elegance Advisor
Taylor struggled with imposter syndrome when starting her Elegance Advisor Consultancy after receiving her diploma in etiquette and protocol. She coaches a mindset using etiquette, effective communication, and personal branding to develop an individual’s growth and self-development. She initially struggled with presenting etiquette as a tool for everyone but eventually took a leap forward and approached it in her way. The pandemic offered an ideal time for her business to offer something of interest and need as people became more introspective.
