Owner and Headmaster of the Freestyle Martial Arts Academies is Master Brian Moragne (aka Contra-Mestre Graveto). He has been teaching martial arts for over 30 years and has a long-standing reputation for high quality education. He also has a great impact in his South Jersey community and is most pleased of his accomplishments in student development. His kids have fantastic attitudes and exceptional levels of competency.
When he is not teaching, he travels throughout the United States and the world giving lectures on martial arts, bully avoidance, and women’s self-defense, all while advocating for peace and harmony.
Master B is a 6th Degree American Freestyle Karate practitioner, a 5th Degree Tae Kwon Do practitioner, a 4th Degree Shutokan Karate practitioner, a Contra-Mestre of Capoeira, and a Black Belt in Hapkido practitioner. He also enjoys grappling, boxing, and kickboxing.
Master Moragne is a four-time Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee, a member of Karate for Christ, a proud member of Ms. Parry Harris’ Atlantic City Dance Theater, an active member of the North American Federation of Martial Arts (NAFMA), a member of the Philadelphia Historic Martial Arts Society Hall of Fame, and a Freemason with the Atlantic Lodge 221.
