Johnny Lawrence has been providing individuals with the skills and perspective to become the builders of their own lives for more than fifteen years. He also encourages, supports, and educates people to help them go from where they are to where they want to be.
For the first twenty-five years of his existence, Johnny thought he was a helpless, scared guy. Then it dawned on him that this was untrue. He realized that he was brave and that fear is a necessary prerequisite for bravery.
In addition to being the host of The Self Development Podcast, Johnny holds certifications as a level 3 counsellor, behavioral change coach, speaker, and facilitator. He has assisted a great deal of people in making long-lasting beneficial changes, such changing occupations, beating addiction, launching a business, or coming up with a practical answer to feeling trapped and unproductive. Among the many gatherings, businesses, festivals, fundraisers, fitness centers, and academic institutions that Johnny has addressed at are the Rewriting Wellbeing for Educators conference and the Latitude Festival, to mention a couple.
In addition, Johnny was physically abused as a youngster and witnessed domestic violence as a child. He later had a troubled connection with alcohol as a result of what he saw, as he battled horrific memories of the past and turned to drink as a coping mechanism.
Since 2020, Johnny has abstained from alcohol. His prior experiences have given him the capacity to empathize, apply reason to an understanding of another person’s mental and emotional state, and communicate his feelings to them. This enables them to concentrate on what is beneficial and healing rather than painful and impeding. He is adamant that experience and knowledge combine to produce wisdom, and that his background has given him access to abilities that cannot be acquired by formal schooling. His training offers the well-founded proof of psychological ideas, behavioral research, and tried-and-true coaching techniques.
Johnny has made it his goal to assist as many individuals as he can in bringing about significant and long-lasting change. He provides resources, techniques, and mental and emotional education through a variety of accessible channels. His own experience serves as proof that change is always achievable and that the first step in achieving change is to be clear about your goals and the reasons behind them.
