Since 1985, Nat Hab has delivered life-enhancing nature and wildlife experiences to small groups of passionate explorers. We provide up-close encounters with the planet’s wildest places by fusing an innovative travel strategy with individualized attention to detail and industry-leading sustainability practices. Our goal is to inspire travelers, help local communities, and proactively influence the entire travel industry in order to protect the environment through exploration.
Our conservation travel partner, World Wildlife Fund, and I have worked together to create unique itineraries in far-flung locales that are largely inaccessible to mass tourism. Our Expedition Leaders are the best-trained naturalist tour guides in the business, providing each traveler with individualized service and expert interpretation. And our unique accommodations are essential to an unrivaled nature immersion, providing close proximity to wildlife and exceptional comfort in a discrete setting. Our groups are the smallest in the industry, with an average of just nine visitors, allowing for quiet opportunities for close-up, meaningful interactions with wildlife.
Our passion is to support tourists in protecting the environment while they rediscover their connection to nature. The kind of visitor that Nat Hab caters to is one who shares our love for the planet, is looking for experiences that will enrich their lives, and considers nature to be their home—the place where they go to feel most connected, inspired, and alive. The world’s foremost conservation organization, World Wildlife Fund, chose Natural Habitat Adventures as its exclusive conservation travel partner in 2003. This partnership was a result of our dedication to eco-friendly travel and the exceptional quality of our global adventures. When you go on a trip with Nat Hab and WWF, you actively contribute to resolving the planet’s most urgent conservation issues. Your tourism dollars support local communities that coexist with and care for nature, transforming the future of vulnerable natural areas while generating income. Your presence serves as a potent inducement for local governments to safeguard their natural resources, increasing the value of both intact wild lands and wildlife compared to degraded ones. Find out more about our creative collaboration with WWF. You’ll also be happy to learn that Nat Hab has held the title of being the first 100% carbon-neutral travel company since 2007. We completely offset all of the carbon emissions from your entire trip when you fly with us, including flights to and from our locations! Additionally, and this is something we are especially proud of, we are encouraging other businesses to follow our example.
