Maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc. Ensure that the company maintains high social responsibility wherever it does business. Assess risks to the company and ensure they are monitored and minimize. Set strategic goals and make sure they are measurable and describable.
- Build strong employee relationships. Connect people to a purpose. Encourage frequent employee recognition.
- Effective marketing today requires my brand to be in more places than ever before because media is hyper fragmented. You need to be where your customers are to maintain top-of-mind awareness.
- Elevate your focus on inclusion and diversity initiatives through expanded team member benefits that prioritize inclusivity and mental health. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Always treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. Do more than you expect others to do and develop your accountability. Always listen to and respect the opinions and decisions of others.
- Expect to make some mistakes, some of which will be costly. However, with the right planning, funding, and flexibility, businesses have a better chance of succeeding.
- Let go of the fear. She says, “Letting go of the fear that if I’m not working every minute, business will fail. Make my lifestyle a part of my brand. Make lifestyle the most important factor in business from the beginning, and then grow with that principle in mind—less stress, more happiness.”
